FED UP AUDITIONS 2026
VIRTUAL SUBMISSIONS
Hello & Welcome!
We want to keep you informed as we head into the weekend. There is a winter storm currently predicted for the Greenville, NC area between Saturday through Monday. As of now, we are actively watching the forecasts and will continue to monitor conditions as new information becomes available.
Our priority is always the safety of our community. Because weather patterns can change quickly, and the weather seems to be cautionary, it is likely that a final decision about this weekend’s audition will change due to the weather. Meaning instead of a physical audition, we will prepare for virtual auditions.
Step One: You will create a Google Drive Folder titled “Fed Up Live Auditions 2026” (or a Private YouTube Playlist).
Step Two: You will upload your videos to the Google Drive folder or Youtube playlist.
Step Three: You will submit the link to your Google Drive Folder or YouTube Playlist on the Virtual Submission Form at https://www.gtacnc.org/fedup2026.
Below are the details and instructions for the upcoming Virtual Audition Submission and what to include submitting your Self-Tape Audition:
• Slate/Introduction (Include name, age, experience & tell us your “Reason Why” for auditioning. Be honest.)
• Acting Audition: Improvisation Prompt (This can be anywhere from 2-5 minutes. We want to see your entire body so please make sure the video is recording the full area in which you will be performing your scene. At the end of the video, please say “Thank you” when you have ended your scene. If you would like to include any special talents or abilities, this is where you can showcase your skills.)
• **Optional: Singing Audition (Show us your singing ability. This can be uploaded as a second video. This video can be anywhere from 30 seconds to 90 seconds. Choose a section of the song that shows your range.)
The virtual submission deadline will be Monday, January 26th, 2026 by 11:59pm. Any submissions after the deadline will NOT be considered. Thank you for your flexibility, grace, and understanding. We’re grateful to walk through moments like this together and will keep you updated every step of the way.

Please come to your time slot at least 15 minutes before it starts. Each person auditioning will use the same Acting Improv Prompt to audition. We need to see everyone’s acting ability. The Audition Scenario is listed below. Develop your own character. Find your reason’s why and how. The scenario is simple but yet very meaningful. We want to see your emotional range. The main tip is to have fun and think over the top. Nothing is ever too big or too much. Give your all and do your best. You never know where it will take you.
Your improv scene should be anywhere from 2-5 minutes. If you are a singer or would like to showcase your singing ability, you will pick a song of your choosing and sing it acapella leading out of your improv scene.
